BMK glycidate (sodium salt) synthesis from benzaldehyde

I added NAOH and stirred for 12 hrs at RT and 2 hrs at 60°c and let it cooled down. But it's still liquid. I think there is too much water in it. What should I do? Should I add hcl or first separate layers with toluene? Tnx

Added to what? How much? Your question is quite abstract.

It has to be heated to 80-90 °C and stired for 3 h.

Is it possible to synthesize PMK by using piperonal instead of benzaldehyde
If yes plz help me with amount I mean how much piperonal use and all prosess same ?
