methamphetamine freebase ph 6 or 3?

In order to make crystals do you drop the ph of the greebase to ph 3 or ph 6?
Ive read different accounts on here.

Usually to make mdma i lower the ph to 3 then bring the solution to 130c.
So wondering if methbase is the same.

ph 6 is fine for meth it is also right for MDMA, 3 is too acidic. Meth which contains too much HCl will go bad, turn a brownish mush quite fast and induce hallucinations and insanity (far beyond the usual).
