If I follow this synthesis and complete it, can I start blotting this onto my sheet to produce 200-300ug tabs or do I need to follow William dampiers synthesis (link below) to have LSD I can start blotting onto the papers.

If you had the facilities or knowledge to carry out this synthesis, you wouldn't have to ask this question.
This is a quite dangerous and complicated procedure, utilizing procedures like catalytic hydrogenation which require special equipment, not to mention the facilities to handle dangerous chemicals such as thionyl chloride and hydrogen cyanide. Plus, if you did any cursory research at all on LSD manufacture you would understand that this synthetic procedure is hardly useful to the clandestine chemist, and that most clandestine production of LSD gets lysergic acid from hydrolysis of related (gray-market sourced) compounds.
I would recommend reading through a general chemistry and an organic chemistry textbook and starting with a simpler synthesis of another compound. You'll probably kill yourself if you try this synthesis with your current level of knowledge.
