could an ammonia precipitate , thats what i do to get the purity of make a freebase cocaine hcl. first you have to put it a certain amount of water then mix a ammonia soultion wtih water then slowly drop it in to precipitate it. then wash it with h2o through a coffee filter. they have the method on here if you search.
I don't recommend trying to evaporate the water, it has never worked for anyone I know, you end up with caramel syrup. Yes to using a base like ammonia or sodium hydroxide and precipitating the base cocaine, crushing and rinsing with water then dissolving in tech. Grade acetone and add hcl,to recreate the salt, which will precipitate from the acetone, diethyl ether or several other nonpolar solvents could replace acetone.
