Hello, I have a question. using the same method, why is the color of the crystallization fluid different from each other, some are light orange and some are even dark red or burgundy? next question. how long should I stir my cmc for the acidity to stabilize. one last question, will the crystallization process be successful if, after rinsing in water, I poured 2 liters of acetone into the pot and the water that was in my cmc was added together with hydrochloric acid at the souring stage in the amount of 2.5 liters? the amounts of crystallization fluid were given as 5 kilo 2b4ch. what are the consequences of using too little crystallization liquid?

I dissolved 5kg of 2b4ch in 15l of toluene, then aminolated it in 10l of methylamine as I described above. after amination, I purified the cmc from the amine with cold water three times and then slowly acidified it to obtain pH=6 using hydrochloric acid hcl mixed with water, 2 liters of acid per 5 liters of water, to obtain pH 6 I used 3/3.5 liters of a solution of water and hydrochloric acid in this proportion. I rinsed the acidified cmc in wind 2 or 3 times, then poured my cmc into a pot, added 2 liters of acetone and heated it, I heated it because when boiling to a temperature above 60 degrees, the pot spontaneously ignited (green fire), which I had to extinguish several times by putting a blanket over it.
so why did I obtain such a diverse color of the crystal and the crystallization liquid, from light yellow/green in which a beautiful transparent stone was obtained, to an orange liquid in which the crystal was also transparent and burgundy in which the crystal was orange, I also overacidified one batch and the liquid came out black however, the crystal that was formed there turned out white
