Odors of aromatic aldehydes

Are there any substituted bezaldehydes or analogs of benzaldehyde (like thiophenecarboxaldehyde) that have the same almond odor as benzaldehyde (and could possibly have been confused with it)?

Some time ago I had what I thought was benzaldehyde. It had strong almond smell, and it condensed with nitroethane to what I thought was P2NP (light yellow needle-like crystals). Now I need to know whether that compound could have been something else than benzaldehyde (some other aldehyde).

Of what? If you mean P2NP, I used it all and didn't check m.p. back then.

As I said, I don't have any of that p2np left. I only have the amphetamine made from it. And, anyway, I currently don't have access to any lab equipment or opportunities to perform tests. The amphetamine is strange, which makes me doubt it's amphetamine at all and whether it's safe to consume; hence the thread.

Measure the melting point of amphetamine salt. equipment thermometer, thin glass capillary and electric stove. If you have nothing to check, then you will not be able to install what kind of product you have. The most ungrateful thing is guessing.
