Jā, piemēram, dzelzs hlorīds (FeCl3) un cinka hlorīds (ZnCl3), bet reakcija notiks lēnāk, salīdzinot ar alumīnija hlorīda izmantošanu.

šajā sintēzē man ir tikai sildītāja balona maisītājs, vai es varu neizmantot ūdens vannu un cik grādus nedrīkst pārsniegt, kad mēs pievienojam propinola hlorīdu

Esmu diezgan pārliecināts, ka tam ir jābūt bezūdens alumīnija hlorīdam.

Nekādā gadījumā bez ūdens. Problēma ir tāda, ka alumīnija hlorīdu nevar izžāvēt, to karsējot, iirc.

Tomēr pārbaudiet to divreiz.
