I remember and sometimes wish for those days again. they were years stuggling to get a grip of my addictions. not always a good time. there was a learning curve. i think i had a pager.

There are good and bad addiction. The good addiction starts first and most, the bad is gaining mighty though (heavy drugs like MDPV)

i take my phone everywhere i go but i might as well leave it at home bc i dont like using it unless im fully free. people get mad at me bc i leave them on delivered for 5+ hours but like... its not a personal thing. its not that i dont like them, i just have a life outside of my phone and ig thats hard for most ppl to comprehend. yes, today people r more accessible than ever, but ease of access doesnt necessarily mean theyre not busy. its not even like ppl text me about anything important. if its a serious situation u can talk to me in person... im not going to stop whatever im doing to respond to that "funny" video u sent me. fuck off.

i hate this culture of like "oh u have to constantly talk to ur partner/friends." its a very new thing and it doesnt help anyone. relationships worked fine, if not better, before modern smartphones and social media. so many relationships r dysfunctional because people expect their partners to drop everything to text them. u will NOT catch me doing that shit for a man and i dont expect anyone to do that for me. a partner should be a priority but never ur first priority. if someone is unable to respect that then they dont deserve to be in ur life at all

Honestly I am the same way replying to messages. I always thought, if you are texting me, you not looking for information you need from me immediately. Granted I am super bad at getting back to people, forgetting to turn my phone off of silent, and I almost never listen to voicemails. I usually just call people back. I guess I dont know why i take my phone everywhere either?

I was with a girl a few years back who wanted me to have that life360 on my phone. Her reasoning was because I was traveling. I hated it. I would constantly uninstall it. Then I found an app that would spoof my gps location. After that I always put my location in another country. No suprise that relationship didnt last.

yeah, my phone is always on do not disturb and im not active on any socials. probably the easiest way to reach me is telegram and im only on it a few times a day, if im not busy... ^^;

also ew, sorry u had to deal with that. ive been in relationships with rlly overprotective guys and learned the hard way that lying wont do anything but make both parties miserable. u just gotta find someone whose priorities align with urs. tbh i have trust issues but if i was that paranoid i just wouldnt be in a relationship. why stress urself out like that? if someone wants 2 cheat theyre going to do it regardless of whatever "preventative measures" u put in place. ive seen it in so many relationships. let them tell on themselves instead of trying to stop them c:

remember, nobody can steal ur partner, only ur problem!

Very true! If your getting crazy checking on your partner or going through their phone its time to call it quits. It probably won't get better and its not worth the stress!

Oh lawd feeling old already.. going to argue the N64, GameBoy, and seethrough phone are 'not' 2000's but 90's, besides the point!
I do agree all soul has left most things and I myself attribute it mostly to the mass exodus of cable cutters. Nobody gets anything the same way anymore, nobody goes in to work and says, "did you see the new episode of X show?" they say "bro you gotta watch X show, please watch it, PLEASE" you say ok and then never do, or people just don't say anything at all because they don't want to ask. It becomes no one wants to talk to each other anymore, everyone's got their 'click' and that's the end of it. Sad. I hope the 30's aren't this bad..lol

There's a generation between Millenial and Gen-X:
"The microgeneration between Millennials and Generation X is often referred to as the "Xennials" or the "Oregon Trail Generation." Xennials are considered to be a "cusp" generation, born roughly between the late 1970s and early 1980s. They exhibit characteristics of both Generation X and Millennials, bridging the gap between these two larger generational cohorts."
It's turned out to be a weird spot to be stuck in for me, seems I can't find anyone out in the real world that has a simliar background
as for the name: shhhhh... but yes lol

No, I don't really miss outdated things and times in everyday life I look ahead of greater things to come. Like AI getting a soul and fixing us up. Technological history will fade away in our memory banks with our lives. the nostalgia of limitations. Not my soul to be stuck in (primitive) past.

I a bitter soul with a bad past and I care about getting it good for me and maybe others. Nostalgia gets me more wasted, and uneasy of primitivism. I am all about results. I respect others' antiquated interests. Mine to remember a White West Top Civilisation that by feminine (leftist) feeling let the unfortunate anti-people settle to steal and ruin us. It is always the same result with those. Singapore knows they are impossible to justify their mere presence. I read IQ-charts and demography, it is all logical input output. I shy from the unfortunates (not ukrainian likes though).

I can't tell if I miss who I was and how I felt and/or if I miss the nicknacks and on boarding of new tech.
A little bit of both, maybe. 😊

The possible (healthy) technology was worse "the year before".
It gets better - not worse. You are stuck in the bad past.

Dont understand your ground for that major statement.
Todays tech is so much more playful and fun than before.
