Mrazák bych doporučil. V tomto případě platí, že čím chladnější, tím lepší. Teploty nebyly nikdy měřeny, metanol vždy skladuji v mrazáku.

-Polarita (testováno polarimetrem) po jednom průchodu

- H20 (68-73 % d)

- Metanol (71-76 % d)

- Rusznakův proces, toluen jako náhrada benzenu (stále se nepodařilo dosáhnout racemického stavu)

- Pope - Peachey: h20/kyselina chlorovodíková
(65-80 % d je závislé na čase)

Upřednostňuji metodu s h20 kvůli nákladům, času a jednoduchosti.
