street fentanyl from a user's point of view

Ok so obviously what's being passed off as fentanyl on the street probably isn't but on some of the test from one of our services fentalyl, alfentanyl and sufentanyl have shown up in the past. As an IV drug user because most of our samples have been testing positive for benzodiazepines Toronto has two safer supply programs. The one I'm on where I get 21 8mg dialaudid per day for opiate addiction and 6 10mg Ritalin APO brand per day both for my ADHD and a 20 year crystal meth addiction. The ritalin surprisingly works and yes I inject them. But I still get cravings and have a had time saying no to free drugs. But the dosage for the Dilaudid is still not nearly enough as I still find myself using at least if I have money 1 point a day. The positive is i get to take my pills home

The other program is an injectable hydromorphone program where u have to go to the place. The Works in Toronto. And you get two shots of liquid hydromorphone per day once in the morning and once in the evening. I was told by someone who is on it that he gets 400ml hydromorphone per day but that sounds wrong. My understanding is that 2ml hydromorphone is the same as 8mg hydromorphone.

I'm just trying to stop using street drugs and eventually needles. Unfortunately my heart has been damaged to a point where stopping completely is a no go.

But I wanted to say. I've had dealers say all sorts of things like how theres carfentanyl in it and whatnot I had none kid tell me me gets 100% fentanyl off the dark web himself and cuts it to order by strength but when I asked if he wore gloves and a respirator mask he was like no i just pour from bag to bag.

The only thing i can say as a user if you get a film over the liquid of your cooker as it begins to cool your shit's been cut with dialaud lol

How do you know your heart is damaged from the opioids? I've never heard of that being the case, you could still certainly quit usage, obviously it's no easy feat by any stretch of the imagination but definitely not impossible.
