Nahhh that is nonsense. lead is the cheapest and not all-top heavy xray proof. Moreover it's deformable and not radio-active.
But the heck: Lead not the only one that shields xrays. Every metal heavier than lead can do it, too, e.g. Plutonium. Of course this being a dangerous, expensive and a most stupid to conceal your drugs.
