Anybody tried this synth from myristicin?

Been wanting to trip on this for years and just started scheming on methods to dream this dream. Managed to find a GC/MS tested Parsley oil with high myristicin content. My dream is to treat it like sassafras->mda (I've read MMDMA is practically inactive and not of great interest). Distillation to isolate myristicin, isomerization to isomyristicin, peracetic acid oxidation, rearrangement to ketone, formation of oxime, reduction by sodium? I wanted so badly to do a wacker ox but Pd prices just not what they used to be in the hive days. I have been able to find very little information about the oxime/Na reduction procedure in the usual archives but this seems the most OTC. I'm surprised clandestine mmda isn't more popular if its not much harder than mda and every experience report I've read made it sound like the best drug ever. I've only seen one documented synth on the vespiary which used the performic and I think Al/Hg amalgam.

Is NaBH4 hard or suspicious to obtain? It seems the easiest and best yielding method of reducing but my worry is that purchasing such a strong chemical as a civilian could raise flags.

This substance has bioactivity without any steps. But at the same time it has high hepatoxicity. MMDMA obtained from this substance as far as I know is a weak substance, therefore there is no great interest in this synthesis.

MMDA is the target compound which is active in the 200-400mg range and rarely tasted but the experience reports make it sound like a definite worthwhile pursuit. Myristicin is attributed with the psychoactivity of nutmeg but I don't really buy it since its such a low amount of the essential oil its a much smaller fraction of the dry spice. Shulgin had a hypothesis that myristicin gets converted to mmda by the liver (and elemicin to tma) but the experience reports are so different I'm skeptical this is what is actually happening.

I'm not just looking for any old activity I'm looking for the mmda experience.

Its euphoric, calm, non emphatogenic like mdma, and not too much neurotoxic, actualy a great drug to chill out on a rainy day.

Did you synth it yourself or get it from a chemist? I've had so much trouble trying to vacuum distill without an oil pump I'm starting to think it might be easier to synthesize the myristicin and go from there.

Ever since I read about the "brain movies" I've wanted to try this chem but for some reason it never took off the way mda or mdma did. I've only been able to find a handful of experience reports but every one said it was a hidden gem and even Shulgin said it was one of his favorite chemicals.

I'm curious as well to find out how it interacts with music since this is one area I haven't really heard users mention in their experience.

I got lucky there was a seller of the aldehyde and bought a little to try it out, he was making the aldehyde from myristicine, i think some experience in franction destilation, some parsley oil, get apiole,myristicine and there was a few other intrested too, separete, and Wacker or isomerise or go to the aldehyde ...
