Has anyone successfully attempted the synthesis of Methylamine base or HCL from Acetamide? If so, anything to be aware of or advice for scaling up to 10-20kg?

yeah i did it before i just started out with vinegar and ammonia mixed em boiled it down then refluxed it, destilled the acetamide and then just the casual hoffman rearangement. honestly i dont think its cheaper than just buying methylamine 5/10 atleast acetamide smells good works tho.
