methcathinone crystallization

hello so i have one problem which is about crystallizing methcathinone in freezer -20celsius, first thing is that should i dilute 36-38% HCL or just dropping few drops til its in the right pH place and put it in freezer. What are the main differences between diluting and dropwise.

It is generally preferred to dilute free base with freezer-cold acetone (start 1:1 by volume, you may add more later) and then add HCl drop-wise until pH 5 is reached while stirring the mixture constantly. If there is no precipitate at that point then place the liquid into the freezer overnight and white powder precipitates out of the solution so it can be filtered.

what if i used ipa 99% 50/50 solution? it should crystallize am i wrong

i added acetone on top of ipa and solution 50/50 ratio, now it should crystallize am i wrong?

It should work, I guess, as with ethanol.
