Methadone Hydrochloride extraction from Oral 1mg/1ml UK

I am trying to extract/separate the API (active pharmaceutical ingredient|) Methadone Hydrochloride from the oral 1mg/1ml.

where I am based it is a green-colored moderately thick syrup.

There are many companies that produce similar products with different ingredients.

not naming the company, but this is the excipients list.

Can anyone help me with a complete extraction in detail? I have pretty basic experience but have read a lot. I have bought some basic stuff - sep funnels, vacuum filtration, distillation apparatus, etc. And am happy to buy whatever it takes to make this extraction/ seperation.

I'd be very grateful for a complete process, but even a good start would be very much appreciated.

Methadone hydrochloride is in the form of a soluble salt. Unlike the base of methadone.
My team produces methadone and clears through the base.
The base has a crystalline appearance which is insoluble in water! How do I see the process of obtaining methadone from your syrup?
I would dilute 100 ml of your syrup in water (about 800 ml) and add a concentrated lye solution to 11-12 PH.
I would cool and filter from the crystalline precipitate.
I would dissolve the crystalline precipitate in boiling methanol and filter (what did not dissolve, throw out these insoluble salts), put the methanol in the freezer and extract the crystals in a day. the crystal has a base shape. To convert it into hydrochloride ... you need to dissolve 100 mg of base in 2 ml of methanol and add hydrochloric acid to PH 5-6 and leave it in the freezer. After a day, take it out of the freezer and crumble the hydrochloride - and rinse with ice-cold acetone.

wow, thanks so much for the reply - this is exactly what I have been looking for for a long time. Someone who actuallyt knows what they are talking about and doesnt give a billion reasons why this is a stupid idea. Just straight facts and productive information. Again, thank you.
