How Much Trouble Grey Area Precursors?

How much legal trouble could someone get if they ordered a few kilos of a precursor like bmk/pmk ethyl glycidate, or the like? Perfectly legal, but grey area.

Not for distribution, just having more than enough for a while. In the US, as that does matter.

I realize it would likely just be a seizure letter, and the sender can mislabel, so the risk is low

If you get caught while manufacturing drugs or also in posession of enough equipment to do so, you could get in real trouble.

Otherwise, if you do have an escuse that is waterproof to why you possessed those precursors, you could avoid bigger troubles.

This question is not too easy to answer and depend on a lot of other factors too

If the substance is not prohibited, then you will not be able to be charged for trafficking this substance. But they can always ask the question for what purpose did you buy it? Glycidates are very specific reagents and every chemist understands what they are needed for. If possible, change the name of the substance in the invoice and other documents.

Use mules to get the precursors never on your own name.As was said above if the chemical isnt prohibited you cant get charged but you will for sure be flagged and investigated.

I don't have the benefit of mules, and imo that is just one more person to snitch on you. Trying out a random supplier, we'll see. I'm fully expecting to get scammed, but no risk, no reward.

Don't just jump in like that There are BMK/PMK suppliers listed here so you can at least minimize the most useless risk..the risk to get scammed

True that, I've seen plenty of people slipping up exactly there..many people just don't think about what actualy to do when things crash and burn
