So I'm wondering if we can do a write up, or at least discuss the viability of a homemade hydrogenation vessel made of steel, for platinum oxide hydrogenation of MDP2P/P2P.

Idk if links are allowed, but Google "large scale methamphetamine manufacture from p2p" and you'll see my inspiration.

It seems such hydrogenation are the most "dense" as they use a 7000ml vessel to reduce something like 900 grams of p2p. Seems pretty good ratio.

I would like for us to basically simplify the info that can be gained from the Google search I mentioned, and make it so almost any person can assemble this and start producing.

Steel? What's wrong with a solvent/chemical resistant backpack sprayer?

I was preffering something more professional and safe, and also something you could go to a sheet metal place or the like and have them weld up, something that one could also maybe extract directly into.

Just ideas, that is a good one for clandestine chemistry though

They rate at 60psi and you only need 40psi. Steel is in no way safer and you'd have to coat the inside anyway with something non-reactive nevermind if something does go wrong and it explodes throwing shrapnel everywhere. Getting anything custom fabricated is going to cost more than buying a proper professional reactor.

These are all good points.

Any reccommendation or advice for using a back pack sprayer? Trying to imagine how to make additions to the mix, sort of a batch reactor?
