Geometric Dilution
Simple but effective pharmacist's technique for distributing little powdery material in a large quantity of additive in a fairly homogeneous way. It consists of successively mixing equal quantities of active ingredient and additive in order to promote better distribution.
Materials:
- 1 mortar, if possible in metal or smooth ceramic. Avoid those made of stone or other materials that have too much roughness.
- A milligram scale (possibly a 0.01 gram scale if that's all you have)
- A metal spatula
- Your psychoactive product(s) in powder form. The desired dose should not be less than 5mg, as this method is not exact.
- One or more neutral additive powder
Method :
1) Decide the dose and do your calculations
Write down your calculations neatly and intelligibly to avoid careless errors and proofread them
2) Clean and dry your mortar and pistil with soapy water, then placing it in the microwave for 1-2 minutes (unless one of the parts is made of metal of course)
3) Add all of your psychoactive product and the same amount of additive to the mortar and mix for at least 2 minutes thoroughly.
4) Do as in step 3 but with double the additive, that is to say the same quantity as what is already in it and still mix thoroughly for 2 minutes.
5) Repeat step 4 with twice the amount of additive each time, mixing well each time until there is no more additive left.
That's it !
