Escrow is an excellent tool during trades, especially for the buyers. However the problem can pop out when the buyers want to scam the vendor. When the product is ship by post, in case of problem with the finalization of the payment, there are proof of the delivery of the package, but with dead drops once the vendor hide the product, then when the buyer comes to pick it up can easely contact the vendor and tell him that the pack is not there and that maybe someone already picked it up when it's not like that and he can claim that he won't pay for something that he hasn't received when he will happily get high with your drugs. I can understand that if there is a moderator he can try to solve the question, but what if the escrow is a bot? Are there other solution? Am I missing something in my reasoning? I'm really interested in finding a solution for this problem, escrow is a fondamental aspect if someone who want to create his own credibility but, call me paranoid, I really need to think about every little problem that can come out.
