Methcathinone synthesis by DrugZ
1. Smash pseudoephedrine (for example 360mg) pills into fine powder
2. Take a jar and put 50ml distilled water and 2.5ml acetic acid.
3. Put the pseudoephedrine powder into jar filled with distilled water, put the cap on and shake very well to dissolve pseudoephedrine.
4. Get another jar and 1 coffee filter, filter first jar to second one to get any left undissolved pseudoephedrine.
5. Calculate your kMNO4 to 300-360mg and mix with pseudoedephrine filled jar.
6. The reaction has started and should take 20-30 minutes to reach its final destination.
7. After mentioned time, reaction should have ended and you have to see brown particles by swirling the jar, if there's no brown coffee like particles that means reaction hasn't finished and you need to wait for a bit more. You should see clear water at the top but if you add to much kMNO4 you need to swirl jar and see if there is any brown particles.
8. Add some sodium sulfite (not NaOH, it is strong lye and methcathinone is sensitive to strong lyes, it will destroy your yield)until you reach pH of 8-9, then you should notice clear liquid turn into yellow color and the smell should change).
9. Put the cap on jar and shake very well for 1 minute.
10. Get another coffee filter, jar and filter it out, there should not be any brown particles left only yellow liquid (the methcathinone).
11. Next step is to add 36ml of methylene chloride (DCM) stir or it up and let it settle for bit till it separates into 2 layers (organic - bottom and aqueous one - on top) suck off top layer with turkey baster or whatever comes in your mind to do it well.
12. Exract aqueous phase 3 times more with 9ml DCM and combine all DCM
