Hi. Firstly, you have to learn reagent manual (if you have it). If you don't have, look at google about chemical properties and storage recommendations. Most chemicals have to be stored in sealed vessel without air exposure to avoid reactions with water and oxygen. Some reagents can converse under quantum of light (hn), hence, keep them in dark glass or dark place like cupboard or so. Also, you can use reagents, which have extremely strong smell. Keep them under the fumes hood or in tightly closed container in this hood. Some acids and alkaline absorb water from air quite fast and evaporate. You should close them as I told before (in sealed vessels) at room temp. Used fridge for substances, which can be decomposed and do in closed vessels.
