yes it definitively is ! BUT is your Diacetylmorphine ( a.k.a. Heroin )
really mainly the compound it should be?
its up to you to figure out...
ANYWAYS HERE YOU GO:

you'll Need:
- Ethanol or Isopropanol
(Vodka is ok if you haven't anything else...)
- PH meter strips
- Hardware store muriatic-acid (hydrochloric-acid)

PROCEDURE:
dissolve your Heroin Base powder in a beaker in before mentioned alcohol of
availability.
dilute the hydrochloric acid with water
(if it is 30%~ then use 1ml HCL -> 30ml H2O !!! first water THEN ACID !!!)
Now use a pipette and add to your
alcohol-Heroine-Solution your
Water- Acid Solution dropwise !
with steady PH-Measuring
( dip a glass rod into the liquid and on to strip immediately)
until it becomes slightly acidic ( most universal ph-strips a light pinkish colour)
mix it well....try to stay between 5-7 PH value..
.(if you are insecure and don't have experience,
dilute the HCL-Water mix with more Water before using)
DONE ?
GOOD !
transfer the mixture to a Plate or glass evaping dish and slightly heat it (don't exceed 50C)
as well as blowing air with a handheld fan over the surface area...
IF YOU ARE GHETTO what possibly is the case (no shaming, all good ;-)
pour the mixture on a plate and carefully use a hairblow dryer to evap the liquidity away...
scrape the residue with a razorblade , put it on a warm place to dry out completely.
NOTE:
IF THE SO PROCESSED HEROIN IS USED INTRAVENEOUSLY; IT IS ABSOLUTELY OF HIGH IMPORTANCE TO NOT OVERACIDIFY THE MIXTURE !
BEST IS SLIGHTLY BELOW ~7 PH
