route to p2p

What do you guys think the best route to p2p ? i was going to try the bromine route from the walter white video involving benzene and bromoacetone, yet isolating the bromine from sodium bromide was a little too scary i should have found a place to do this outside!

i have however been pretty successful in making good benzaldehyde from benzyl alcohol and HNO3 so i have been exploring the benzyl chloride and benzyl cyanide route.

which is the better route and has anyone used this BMK Glycide route?

I think if you're doing small-scale the benzene + bromoacetone route works fine but for larger scale I would suggest making it from P2NP: https://bbgate.com/threads/p2p-synthesis-from-p2np.188/

p2np is kinda cheating, might as well say make it from glycidate esters
