L-PAC conversion to Ephedrine

While I know there is already a write-up on a conversion of L-PAC to Ephedrine. However, there are multiple
problems:

• There is no mention on how the microwave is modified
• It requires rotavaps, which are not available in most clandestine laboratories
• I don't think the imine has to be formed? We want to convert the =O to a -CH3

There has to be a simpler way of doing this. Any advice?

I am currently trying to figure this out as obtaining PSE is basically impossible. Check Uncle Fester SOMM 8th ed. chapter 17: Brewing your own ephedrine. Lemme know what ya think and how ya do. o7
