I'm looking for people who are familiar with their equipment who can guide me to vacuum pumps that I can use when cleaning 4-MMC powder. Large amounts are cleaned and the vacuum pumps keep breaking and I'm looking for some help with links maybe or photos of the vacuum pumps that they use and are of strong high quality. I currently use 150mm buchner funnel and 2L flask but will increase to 300mm and 5L/10L flask. Hopefully there are people here who can advise me

How long would it take to wash around 250g/300g total powder weight when done in a 150mm buchner and funnel?

I usually wash around 4 times

So I can gauge the suction strength, it's total vacuum strength. Water aspirator seem to be low 30 to 50Lper minute I believe

it's not the strongest pump but it's resistant, I usually start with water aspirator then finish with oil pump

What solvent do you use? I would expect DCM vapor to chew through any plastic and rubber over time and a water aspirator (driven by a $20 12/24 VDC pump from Ali) would be better than anything else. Maybe with EA this is less of a concern but I'd definitely take the solvent (or other pumped gasses) into consideration.

It's acetone that I use. I'll have look on Alibaba for a 12/24 VDC pump. Is that what I just need to search, what is VDC stand for?
