I will be subjective and honest. Synthetic cannabinoids are a big problem. You need to exert strength and willpower to break the growing connection between you and this type of psychoactive substances. They have already replaced cannabis for you and cause a situation where you cannot (in your own words) give them up. But there is good news - you wrote this message, you are looking for a way out. And it is real. You need throw them away, throw out all stocks, delete all contacts, cut off all ties with people. places and situations that can provoke use. Then go through the withdrawal. And then, to rebuild yourself. It's not going to be easy, it's a lot harder than writing a forum post. But the alternative is more serious and frightening. Additional materials can be found on various websites dedicated to substances, for example here: https://mindheal.com/basics/drug-withdrawal/

One approach that might help is gradually tapering off the noids while reintroducing healthier alternatives to manage cravings. You could start by reducing the amount you use each day, even if it's just a small reduction. Pair this with activities that keep your mind and body engaged, such as exercise, hobbies, or spending time with supportive friends and family. Replacing the habit with something positive can ease the transition.

Hi, thanks for your thread I don’t have any advice for you, only a question. How much of that stuff have you consumed in a week in order to have developed such an addiction?

I know this is late, I'm really sorry I'm only just seeing this now and hopefully this can still be helpful to you.

Mary should be Base Line always I feel. If She's not hitting the same you need to do 2 things in this order: 1: switch up your ROA, get some edibles, change from flower to concentrate or vice versa etc. 2: While you're experimenting with that it is now time to very seriously consider a Cold Turkey THC break.

At an ounce every two weeks (and that's me being economical lol) I would consider myself a heavy user. I must take a break at least once a year I've discovered, if I don't I just spend too much until I get my act together and finally do the Break.

I've experimented with lengths of Breaks as well; 3 days was not a noticeable change at all for me. A week and now we're 'starting' to scratch that itch but tolerance was straight back to where it was before about a week after.

I've never gone longer than 2 weeks, mainly because I believe for me it's the sweet spot and holy shit I can't imagine more than 2 weeks without Mary with me lol...

At 2 weeks the first hit coming back from Break is VERY close to those College years, anyone who smokes regularly who takes a solid 2-week break I guarantee that first Bong Rip back will explode your fucking face off.

Absolutely worth a try for any novice moderate-heavy user who hasn't done it at least once. With these new strains coming in at 40-50% THC no fucking wonder we're all searching for that higher level, it seems like you were dealing with those pitfalls and obviously much more difficult to get back down to Base Line.

It's really fucking hard, I will admit it. That's why I say above first switch up ROA to give yourself mental prep time for the actual Break. Then give yourself a deadline (by next Sunday or before work week begins etc.) Plan out those days; can you take off from work? What can you do to reduce your routine daily stresses that usually trigger the cravings in the first place? I've always been told that exercise helps a lot too but I'm a lazy bum who believes that working out would just stress me out more so instead, I color a lot... I play with LEGOS, I do a lot of puzzles, I also join an Addiction Support app to track my progress and have a place to bitch and whine about how much I'm missing '...Her <3' at that particular moment.

A 2 week break knocks my tolerance down enough I can cut consumption completely in half and still get the same effects over longer periods of time. I always save a shit ton of money that month AND I get a renewed passion for my Mary! At about 5-6 months is when I'd say the tolerance starts to creep back to where it was and that's why I suggest once per year.

Really hard but so fucking worth it!!
