Impurities of Alpha-Pyros

Some batches of all kinds of Alpha-P*P (pvp, php, pihp, pcyp) can cause problems, even infections in the lungs when repeatly vaping. It differs a lot from batch to batch.
It's is quite clear that the reason are the impurities from the synthesis.

Now, what's the typical unwanted impurity in the production? Pyrrolodine? Ethyl-Acetat? Even HCL? There have been reports about Potassiumpermanganat in a batch from China.

It would be interesting to know the opinion of synthesis experts. This is an important issue for health.

I can confirm the issue. Some batches make more troubles on the lungs than others.

Only exception to far: I have a good source for alpha-php, which doesn't make any problems at all. I guess it originally comes from RC shop which sold it before the recent ban. A pity that I like other pyros more :/

Once I got a sample of a pyro that had even visible impurities. Vaping it cause huge problems in the lungs.
It is the impurities that cause the problems, not the pyros themselves.

Yep some batches kill the through sompbviouslt we pilot the pipe.down for a.few.days until it's healed..... hahaha yeah right


Careful a lot of phones going around isnaciallybam analouge but I have an ideanwhat outlet you may have shopped at and i do believe they still carry then original (and charge an arm and leg for) .let's face it not everyone synching the stuff is a star chemist

I really want to get more info on this. I used to IV this but that was back when it was legal and I never had any real problems. But the market now, it doesn't surprise me at all.

This happens by illegalizing and demonizing substances. It hurts and kills people.

Interestingly, impurities are used to cluster batches of substances, followed by the unraveling of supply chains. Another argument for manufacturers is to create a clean product. If not to take care of the health of users (which should be at the top of the list in my opinion), then to preserve your own peace of mind. A clean product is more difficult to organize using chemical forensics, and therefore to track.

It's way beyond me to even try to guess. I know my acetone yellows in response to water, but it also is yellow after I clean practically any substance with it. If you use it as the solvent in a deprotonation ( you made it basic) it could be creating isophorone, which is a yellows liquid

Washing that alpha-pvp, the yellow faded with each washing. So I suppose it cleaned something out.
Go get is with any substance, you clean?... Even though it is practically pure?

In my opinion it's more then likely pyyrolodine contamination due to lack of washing after animation and not cleaning final crystals with cold acetone due to loss in yield
